INSPIRE L.L.C. Management Team

A seasoned senior management team, having direct industry experience with similar product lines, has been assembled to provide leadership within INSPIRE L.L.C.

Edib Ahmetspahić, Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Ahmetspahic joined Inspire in September of 2007. Prior to that, he worked as a Business Development Director at the Sarajevo Graduate School of Business (SGSB), run by the University of Delaware. Among other things, Mr. Ahmetspahic has developed number one Executive Education Programs in BiH and established strong links between the school and local business community.

Mr. Ahmetspahic has over five years of military experience, including work for the US Army, and several years of experience with the peace implementation organizations. While student, he worked as graduate assistant, distance learning technology facilitator, and assistant at international student programs office.

Mr. Ahmetspahic holds an BBA with Finance emphasis and an MBA from Henderson State University. He obtained both degrees in just four years with the highest distinctions. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, AACSB Accredited Schools Honors Society, and a member of Alpha Epsilon Lambda, Graduate Honors Society.

Elvir Causević,
D.Sc., Adviser and Founder, holds a Doctor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis, with focus on biosignal processing and advanced wavelet theory.

Dr. Causevic has 14 years experience in both starting and managing privately held entrepreneurial companies in various fields, including advanced software, the chemical/pharmaceutical industry, and portable medical device companies. Over the years, he has managed nearly 100 international projects across various disciplines. He is also the founder and president of Everest Biomedical Instruments Company in St. Louis, Missouri, as well BrainScope Company Inc. in New York City. He has raised over $25 million in venture capital from premier U.S. investors from East and West Coasts and the Midwest.

In the area of technology, Dr. Causevic has experience in the sciences of ion beam implanting, molecular beam epitaxy, unique identification of magnetic media, chemical reactor and distillation column control, inert gas generation, VLSI custom chip design, and various advanced DSP applications. His current technical contributions are in the application of DSP technology in neurology, respiratory function analysis, and blood analysis applications. Dr. Causevic was the principal investigator on two U.S. government grants and co-principal investigator on two others, totaling approximately $1.5 million. He authored and co-authored a series of technical publications, as well as four issued patents and twelve patent applications.

Academically, Dr. Causevic holds a research faculty position at Yale University in the Applied Mathematics Department, where he is involved in advanced academic DSP research. He is formerly a J.W. Gibbs Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics at Yale. He is also on the faculty of the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST), and a member of the Advisory Board of the Sarajevo Graduate School of Business (SGSB) run by the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.

Belinda Zylberman-Causević, Corporate Development, Belinda Causevic holds a degree in Communication and Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts and a law degree from Cardozo Law School, Yeshiva University in New York.

She is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Missouri Bars. She has held employment and consulting positions with the United Nations, the World Bank, Amnesty International, Bregman Partners Management Consulting Firm/Goldman Sachs, and the Brasher Law Firm.

Her areas of expertise include leadership development, team building, change management, and results-based business management.

 

Amra Ponjavić, SW Department Manager. Ms. Ponjavic has been with Inspire d.o.o. since its foundation. She has over eleven years experience developing high technologies, of which seven years in positions of project management.  

She has worked with several local and international companies in the telecommunications, electronics, and GIS sectors.Ms. Ponjavic was also active in rebuilding of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the conflict and has worked with various NGOs in the process. 

Ms. Ponjavic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Automation and Electronics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo , and an MBA degree from IIT, Stuart Graduate School of Business in Chicago . She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma - an honor society in business and management. 

 

Lada Mujkić, Chief Administrative/Financial Officer. Ms. Mujkic has been with Inspire d.o.o. since its founding. She has over 10 years of corporate and non-profit administrative and project management experience.

She has worked as a business administrator, manager and trainer at several international organizations in the US and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including IFOR, MPRI, OSCE, UNDP, PrismResearch, proMente, and IPC.

Ms. Mujkic holds a BA in Psychology and Business Administration from Union University in Jackson, TN., and a MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. She is currently pursuing an MBA at the SGSB, the University of Delaware School of Business branch in Sarajevo.

Muhamed Duraković, Operations Manager. Mr. Durakovic has been with Inspire d.o.o since September 2007. He is Drexel University graduate with degree in MIS. He holds MA degree from University of Rome where he researched topic related to ICT and sustainable development. Over the past 15 years he gained significant experience working for multinational cooperation and international aid agencies.

 

Nedim Junuzović, Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs Manager. Mr. Junuzovic has been with Inspire d.o.o. since May 2007. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tuzla, specialized in manufacturing systems.

Over five years he was part of the US Military troops deployed in Balkans. During this period, Mr. Junuzovic was employed by Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on position of Quality Assurance Representative, where is responsible for evaluation and oversight of US Contractor’s performance throughout the Balkans Region.

Based on three years enrolment at Defense Acquisition University and numerous classes taken in Quality, Manufacturing, Contracting, etc., US Department of Defense granted Mr. Junuzovic certificate in “Manufacturing, Production and Quality Assurance“ which is necessary to represent US Government in related career field.

Mr. Junuzovic’s responsibility at Inspire includes development, implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System per FDA QSR and ISO13485 standards. He is Representative of “Management with Executive Responsibility“ for quality/ regulatory matters and chairs Quality Review Committee at Inspire Company.
